The Soldier Termites Are Responsible For Defending The Colony

On the other hand, the soldier termites are responsible for defending the colony against ants. Ants are the known predator of termites. There are some cases wherein these soldiers are unable to feed themselves because of the enlarged jaws. This is the reason why workers will have to feed them.
